The Story of the Brave Little Seed
In a quiet meadow lived a tiny seed named Sunny.
Sunny was smaller than all the other seeds and often heard them say:
“I will grow into the tallest tree!”
“I will have the brightest flowers!”
“I will reach the sun!”
But Sunny was unsure.
“What if I don’t grow at all?” Sunny whispered.
One warm spring morning, Grandmother Oak, the oldest tree in the meadow, spoke softly:
“Sunny, every great tree begins as a tiny seed.
Your strength is inside you — you just have to let it grow.”
Sunny wasn’t sure, but decided to try.
So the little seed pushed gently into the soil, stretching tiny roots downward and tiny leaves upward.
Some days were sunny and easy.
Other days were rainy or windy, and Sunny wanted to give up.
But Sunny kept remembering Grandmother Oak’s words.
Slowly, very slowly, Sunny grew into a small green sprout.
Then into a young plant.
And one morning, when the birds were singing, Sunny bloomed into a bright yellow flower that lit up the whole meadow.
The other seeds gasped.
“Sunny became the brightest of us all!”
Grandmother Oak rustled her leaves proudly.
“See?” she said.
“When you believe in yourself and take one small step at a time, you can grow beyond what you ever imagined.”
Sunny smiled, shining happily in the sun.
MORAL OF THE STORY
Growth takes time, patience, and courage — but even the smallest seed can bloom beautifully when it believes in itself.
