A fortress ghost on the Silk Road
Everybody knows about the Silk Road. What you see in the picture is a building/ fortress that was a shelter for the travellers during those times. The Silk Road was an ancient network of trade routes that connected the East and West . It was central to cultural interaction between the regions for many centuries.
